Celebrating Centerpark Labs’ Newly Delivered Lab Space & Amenities
Last month, brokers and industry leaders celebrated the unveiling of ‘The Social’ Amenity Space at Centerpark Labs, alongside the revitalized 6815 Flanders. The happy hour event kicked off as guests embarked on tours of the state-of-the-art spec labs and colorful town hall before indulging in the outdoor amenities space.
Hawaiian Fresh Seafood collaborated with Miho to provide a fresh poke station boasting shoyu ahi, garlic salmon, and an array of toppings, alongside a yakitori station offering chef-grilled skewers over Japanese charcoal. ‘The Social’ and ‘The Speakeasy’ signature cocktails served as an homage to the event spaces they were named after further elevating the experience, with each sip evoking the essence of connection. The festivities included a macrolight blind beer tasting, which spurred a friendly competition among attendees eager to show off their discerning tastes for each brew.
Adding a local flair, a pop-up shop by Oceanside, San Diego brand Linksoul showcased custom-branded swag, including polos, pullover sweatshirts, and snapback hats, while live music by Austin Burns set the perfect backdrop.
As the evening unfolded, guests glimpsed the future of Centerpark Labs, with plans for an April 2025 expansion promising even more amenities, including event spaces, an indoor/outdoor fitness expansion, and a tenant lounge. This celebration marked not just the culmination of hard work but also the dawn of a new era in Sorrento Mesa’s innovation landscape.
